Item Behavioral and Psychological Responses towards Coronavirus Disease: A Study of the Employees in Garment Industry, Sri Lanka(Department of of Human Resource Management, Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka, 2021) Kumara, W. O. K. S.; Karunarathna, R. A. I. C.Employees are a valuable resource among the various resources within an organization. Moreover, it is important for their employees to maintain good health and well-being a crisis like COVID-19 pandemic. Extant research has found that factors that influence the behavioral and psychological responses to coronavirus disease include age, gender, monthly income, and level of education. However, most of these studies are based on Western countries. Therefore, we know little about the Sri Lankan situation. Thus, the aim of the study was to identify behavioral and psychological responses to corona virus infection in Sri Lankan garment workers. The study is cross-sectional in nature and researcher collected data from 750 employees in the garment industry in Sri Lanka. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire and data were analyzed with the aid of the SPSS software. One-way ANOVA and independent sample t-test were used to test the hypotheses. The results show that there is a significant mean difference of age, gender, monthly income and education level when employees show the behavioral responses towards the pandemic. The results of this study provide significant contribution to health and safely literature. Moreover, these findings provide significant insights to the policy makers and decision makers, in the garment industry in Sri Lanka.Item Challenges to Online Learning in the Time of Covid 19: A National Survey of Undergraduates of Arts Faculties of State Universities in Sri Lanka(Department of of Human Resource Management, Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka, 2021) Madhusankha, L. A. C. J.; Wijewantha, P.The COVID-19 outbreak required all Sri Lankan state universities to move from face-to-face teaching and learning to online instruction in March 2020. This research aims to determine the challenges that undergraduates in the arts faculties of Sri Lankan state universities confront in this situation. The authors distributed the Google form to the students of arts faculties via email and social media platforms to collect data. The questionnaire included multiple-choice, Likert scale, and open-ended questions about demographic information, technical resource access, study habits, living conditions, self-evaluation of online learning capacity, and perceived barriers to acquiring knowledge using the internet. The research was carried out as a national survey. Based on the data collected, there were both opposition and acceptance towards switching to online learning platforms due to students' real impediments and perceived issues. The outcomes of this study are critical for undergraduates, academic and administrative personnel, and all government organizations responsible for higher education to make future decisions about online teaching and learning, even beyond COVID-19. Based on the findings of this research, a strategy for the successful implementation of e-learning may be formed, and technology can be viewed as a good step toward development and transformation.Item Challenges to online Learning in the Time of COVID-19: A National-Level Survey of Undergraduates of Management Faculties of State Universities in Sri Lanka(Department of of Human Resource Management, Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka, 2021) Lankathilaka, H. M. M. C.; Wijewantha, P.In March 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic forced all Sri Lankan state universities to stop face-to-face teaching and learning activities and abruptly shift to online teaching. Given this situation, this study aims to identify the challenges faced by undergraduate students in the management faculties of state universities in Sri Lanka during this teaching-learning process. The authors shared a Google® Form among undergraduates of management faculties of state universities in Sri Lanka through email and social media platforms for data collection. The questionnaire comprised a combination of multiple-choice, Likert scale, and open-ended questions, with the expectation of obtaining demographic information and information about access to technological resources, study habits, living conditions, self-assessment of capacity for online learning, and perceived barriers to online learning. The study was undertaken as a survey, and the authors collected 822 responses. Descriptive statistics are used for the analysis of data. Among the 822 respondents, 65% owned at least one device, and 56% of the sample were using pre-paid mobile data to access online resources and attend lectures. Out of the respondents, only 27% had been in the highest 27%. Furthermore, the results indicated that the students were able to survive at this level because 58% of them have had some form of financial scholarship. Challenges experienced by students in the online learning process could be classified under five categories: technological, individual, domestic, institutional, and community barriers. The findings of this study are significant for all state universities (undergraduates, academic, and administrative staff) and all government institutions responsible for higher education for their future decision-making related to online teaching and learning in any situation beyond the pandemic of COVID-19. Based on the findings of this study, a strategic plan could be developed for the successful implementation of e-learning and view technology as a positive step towards evolution and change, irrespective of whether there is a pandemic or not.Item Determinants of Entrepreneurial Intention of Sri Lankan Graduates: Evidence from Management Graduates of University of Kelaniya(Department of of Human Resource Management, Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka, 2021) Upali, D. T. U. C.; Gamage, P. N.In Sri Lankan context, there is a low presence of entrepreneurs and as a percentage, it is less amount of 1.5% among the Sri Lankan population. One of a reason is that most of university graduates move to seek a job than job generate. Further, there is considerable unemployment in Sri Lanka. With that, the current study focuses on determinants of entrepreneurial intention among Sri Lankan Graduates by proving answers to the major objective such as to identify the determinants of entrepreneurial intention among Sri Lankan graduates. The current study is adapted to the quantitative study and as a unit of analysis, individual 215 management graduates in university of Kelaniya were considered as sample by using simple random sampling technique. The researcher collected data from university graduates at once and the data collected by spreading a google form to graduates. The collected data was analyzed with the support of SPSS and Excel and reliability, normality and linearity, correlation, regression has been tested in data analysis. As finding the researcher found, attitudes towards entrepreneurship, cognitive barriers are highly impact on entrepreneurial intention 26.8%, 58.2% respectively while other factors such as social norms, university environment and support are medium impact on entrepreneurial intention 7.3%, 13.3% respectively without the variable of perceived behavior control due to it was not impact on entrepreneurial intention due to the contextual differences. The researcher recommends future researcher to continue this study adding graduates in all state universities in Sri Lanka.Item Determinants of Higher Education Non-intention of Eligible Candidates to State Universities in Sri Lanka: A Descriptive Study(Department of of Human Resource Management, Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka, 2021) Saheeha, M. N. F.; Weerasinghe, T. D.A better education system ensures inclusive, equitable and affordable learning opportunities. Access to an education system is a fundamental right of a human being. Since independence, Sri Lanka government has taken many progressive steps to improve education in its development efforts. As a result, the country has gained admirable achievements in education such as higher literacy rate i.e., 92% for adults and 97% for youths. Yet, it is impossible to evaluate the prevailing education system as “extremely well” due to some drawbacks among which “higher education non-intention” is a serious issue. The focus of this study is to find out the reasons for higher education non-intention among the students in Sri Lanka and provide policy measures to mitigate this issue. This study is mainly based on qualitative research methods. Semi structured interviews were used to collect the data. The population totally consists of respondents within the age limit of 21- 26 years in Western province and a sample of 20 respondents has been selected from snowball sampling method. Substantial descriptions were used in the data analysis. Personal and family issues, Poverty, socio-economic issues, wrong perception, student mobility and marriage are the main reasons for higher education non-intention of selected respondents in the western province.Item Determinants of Knowledge Sharing through social media: Evidence from Management Undergraduates of University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka(Faculty of Humanities, University of Kelaniya, 2021) Nuwanthi, D. A. N.; Nishanthi, H. M.The current study was initiated to bridge the gap in the extant literature on a major trending arena in the world of the twenty-first century. The fact that knowledge attrition has culminated in an era where knowledge becomes golden is ironic. This study examines the determinants of knowledge sharing through social media of management undergraduates of university of Kelaniya. Further, the current study was designed to identify the impact of determinants such as trust, altruism, reputation and self-efficacy which persuades knowledge sharing. This is a cross sectional research study in nature. A standard questionnaire was prepared and was used to collect primary data through a survey. A simple random sampling technique was applied to select the sample, and the final sample consisted of 210 final year undergraduate in Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies in University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka. The data was analyzed through regression and correlation analysis with the aid of SPSS 26.0. The results show that trust, altruism, reputation and self-efficacy has significance impact between students to knowledge sharing through social media. The determinants of undergraduate’s knowledge sharing can differ between different people and contexts; therefore, future research could examine the differences in social media participation based on gender, age, connection level, or department of the faculty. Based on the findings, recommendations are offered for using social media in knowledge sharing.Item Determinants of Reading Intention of Undergraduates of State Universities in Sri Lanka(Department of of Human Resource Management, Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka, 2021) Sewwandi, C. G. H. D.; Mendis, M. V. S.It is widely accepted that reading is essential for the success of life. Reading is one of the fundamental building blocks of learning; becoming a skilled and adaptable reader enhances the chances of success at school or university and beyond. Reading is not just for school or university; it is for life. However, it has been reported that university undergraduates are mainly absent from reading. Thus, this study aims to examine the determinants of reading intentions of undergraduates in Sri Lanka. In this study, the researcher conducted a quantitative study. A sample of 379 university students in three leading state universities in Sri Lanka was targeted to answer the self-administered, standard questionnaire. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, correlation and regression statistics with the aid of SPSS. It was noted that there is a significant impact of personal attitude, family environment, university environment and peers influence on reading intentions of undergraduates in Sri Lanka. However, personal attitude shows the highest impact (83.5%) on reading intentions than the other determinants. The outcome of the findings of this current study would add value to the existing theory of practice of teaching in various universities in Sri Lanka.Item Determinants of Students’ Satisfaction towards Online Learning during the Pandemic of COVID-19: A Study Related to Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka(Department of of Human Resource Management, Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka, 2021) Srimali, K. A. S.; Mahalekamge, W. G. S.This study investigates that the determinants of students’ satisfaction in online learning. This study was carried out as a cross sectional field study among a sample of 181 undergraduates in Faculty of Commerce and management Studies, University of Kelaniya. Simple random sampling technique was used to select the sample and primary data were collected using a standard questionnaire. Descriptive statistics, inferential statistics, regression and correlation analysis were analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). The study found that learners’ characteristics, instructor, technological characteristics and course design are positively influencing students’ satisfaction Further, study findings are very important in the theoretically and practically for the relevant parties in education system. This study helps for educationists and academics to identify factors which will enhance students’ satisfaction in online classes during the COVID pandemic. Cross validation of the findings of this study to be done in different context of education system and different cultural background comparatively among bigger sample in subsequent studies recommended which will add more insights to the substance of the present study.Item Determinants of Sustainable Engagement in E- Recruitment during the Post-Pandemic of Covid-19: Evidence from Final Year Internship Seeking Students of Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka(Department of of Human Resource Management, Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka, 2021) Udani, A. R.Even though the way Human Resource Management functions are carried out has been changed considerably with the emergence of Online Technology, the impact of e-recruitment on candidates' intention to apply for jobs remains understudied. Hence, the purpose of this research study was to investigate the impact of factors affecting on sustainable engagement in e- recruitment during the post-pandemic of Covid-19. This research was carried out as a cross sectional field study among a sample of 254 Final Year Internship Seeking Students of Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka. Simple random sampling technique was used to select the sample and primary data were collected using a standard questionnaire. Descriptive statistics, inferential statistics, regression and correlation analysis were analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). It is found that, there is a significant impact of perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use and perceived trust on sustainable engagement in e- recruitment of internship seeking university students in the Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka. Further, results show that perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use and perceived trust has moderate and positive impact on sustainable engagement in e- recruitment. Furthermore, these findings are expected to be extremely important for the relevant parties in seeking their job opportunities, both theoretically and practically. Cross validation of the findings of this study in different industries and different point of view, compared among a larger sample, is recommended in future studies, which will add more insights to the substance of the current study.Item Determinants of the Perceived Usefulness of Learning Management System among Undergraduates of Faculty Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka(Department of of Human Resource Management, Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka, 2021) Ruwanthika, W. R.The purpose of this study was to investigate the factors affecting the perceived usefulness of the learning management system among undergraduates of the Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya. Accordingly, the present study examined the impact of system quality, information quality and readiness for online learning on perceived usefulness of learning management system among undergraduates and mediating effect of system use, user satisfaction over the relationship between system quality, information quality, readiness for online learning and perceived usefulness. This study was carried out as quantitative explanatory research work. Further, the sample were selected using the convenience sampling technique. Data were collected via a standard questionnaire from 320 undergraduates of the Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies University of Kelaniya. The Hypothesized model was tested through multiple regression analysis and mediating analysis. The research findings review that information quality and system quality have a high impact on perceived usefulness of LMS than readiness for online learning. Moreover, system use mediated the relationship between system quality, information quality and perceived usefulness while user satisfaction mediated the relationship between system quality, information quality, readiness for online learning and perceived usefulness. This study has provided directions for undergraduates, lecturers, system providers and future researchers.Item Determinants of the Success of Virtual Teamwork: A Study of IT Sector Employees in Sri Lanka(Department of of Human Resource Management, Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka, 2021) Dewage, V. D.; De Alwis, A. C.Technological advancements, globalization, and crisis situations have compelled society to adopt a virtual platform. Considering this scenario, the purpose of this study was to ascertain the determinants that influence the success of virtual teams in the Sri Lankan context in order to enhance the benefits of the virtual platform. This was a quantitative, cross-sectional study involving employees in the Information Technology (IT) sector. The data collection technique used was a structured questionnaire combined with a simple random sampling technique. Correlation and simple linear regression analysis were used to analyze the data. The research reveals that trust, leadership, and communication all have a significant positive impact on successful virtual teamwork independently, while also ensuring a positive relationship between the variables. The uniqueness of this study is in demonstrating how those factors contribute to the conversion of traditional teams to modern teams, thereby increasing the likelihood of the outcome being fruitful.Item Difference between Job Satisfaction Level of ‘Work from Home’ and ‘Work from Office’: Study of the Employees in Telecommunication Sector, Sri Lanka(Department of of Human Resource Management, Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka, 2021) Dishara, H. R.; Welmilla, I.In recent years, the corporate world has changed a phase of digital transformation, which has resulted in the adoption of work-from-home practices in various business contexts. This practice has been accelerated because of the COVID-19 epidemic. Employees of Sri Lankan commercial companies, including telecommunications and software development firms, began working from home during the COVID-19 outbreak and have continued to do so. Because employee job satisfaction is one of the most essential parts of an efficient workforce, organizations' obligation to organizations should ensure that employees are content enough with their new work environments to get the best results from them. This study was conducted to identify the level of employees' job satisfaction when working from home as it is new for Sri Lankans. The researcher used convenience sampling to select the elements to the study from the population. The sample size of the study was 100 employees who are working in the telecommunication industry relating to the Colombo area in Sri Lanka. A standard measurement scale was used to collecting the data via the online method. The dependent sample t-test was performed to test hypotheses and analyzed data. The study results showed a significant difference between employee job satisfaction level in Work from Home and Work from Office in telecommunication sector employees in Sri Lanka. This research was limited to the telecommunication sector and the Colombo area. The practitioners are encouraged to implement the Work from Home in the organizations to gain more advantages to get a better outcome. The results can use to continue working from home efficiently and effectively in the future.Item Effect of COVID-19 Epidemic on Health and Safety Management Function in Apparel Sector, Sri Lanka(Department of of Human Resource Management, Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka, 2021) Senananda, W.H.S.G.; Weerasinghe, T.D.Human Resource Department that performs Human Resource Management (HRM) function in organizations must play a key role in fighting against coronavirus while ensuring the sound health and safety of its employees and the sound performance of other HRM functions. Apparel manufacturing industry in Sri Lanka was particularly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic mostly because most of the industry manufactures for exporting which had to stop because the supply chain had come to a halt. Once the country started emerging out of the pandemic, factories had re orient themselves to the ‘new normal’, which entailed COVID-19 prevention safety protocols which would be of utmost importance to safeguard health of employees. The research aims to understand the impact of COVID 19 spread on health and safety management function of Sri Lankan apparel manufacturing companies as regards health and safety protocols for prevention of COVID-19 spread. This study is carried out as a qualitative exploratory research work. Further, purposive sampling was used to select the sample. This was carried out as a cross sectional descriptive study comprising of 10 respondents. Data was collected via telephone interviews and the reliability and validly was tested through thematic analysis. The themes of Conceptual Health & Safety Control, Innovative Health & Safety Control, Engineering Health & Safety Control, Administrative Health & Safety Control and Self- disciplined Workforce Control were recurring themes brought up by the respondents. The findings of this research serve as a guideline for every organization, HR practitioners and to all the health and safety practitioners in the country. It is recommended to HR, give more consideration on employee wellness, employee upskilling, identifying key employees and recognizing their efforts, employee counseling and proper communication in order to get the work done from their employees efficiently even within this turbulent period.Item Effect of Organizational Justice on Employee Job Performance: Mediation Role of Employee Empowerment in InQube Solutions (Pvt) Limited Ranala, Sri Lanka(Department of of Human Resource Management, Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka, 2021) Samarahewa, R. S.; Weerasinghe, T. D.This study aimed to examine the relationship between organizational justice and employee job performance among the operational level employee in a selected apparel company named InQube Solutions (Pvt) Ltd. Organization justice is explained under three dimensions: Procedural justice, distributive justice, and interactional justice. A sample of 78 operational level employees in different section of the company is selected for the survey and data is statistically tested by SPSS package. Cronbach’s alpha and exploratory factor analysis were involved for testing reliability and validity of the study and correlation and regression were involved for testing Hypotheses. Correlation analysis results indicate that there is a no significant relationship between organization justice and employee job performance and regression analysis is statically proved there is not direct impact between independent variable and dependent variable. However, result of correction indicates mediating effect has significant relationship between independent and dependent variable. And regression analysis indicates there is 8.4% impact of employee empowerment on organization justice and employee job performance. The present study could facilitate and provide a guideline to consider implementation of practical applications regarding enhancing the employee job performance. Findings of the study have the potential of practical implication for managers and employees alike where they can increase employee job performance in operation level employee through empowering their employees. In a conclusion, the current study concludes by declaring that employee empowerment can consider as a full mediator.Item Effects of Employment of Undergraduates on their Academic Performance: Study of Second Year Undergraduates in Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya(Department of of Human Resource Management, Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka, 2021) Chaturanga, W. B.; Gamage, P. N.This study focused on determining the effects of employment of undergraduates who are doing a job while following a degree on their academic performance. With this study, the researcher has identified how their employment has affected undergraduates' academic performance. Due to time management being very important, this study further focused on how the undergraduates manage their time to be involved with other academic activities. Thus, the purpose of this study is to assess the impact of employment of their undergraduates on their academic performance in the University of Kelaniya, one of the leading government universities in Sri Lanka. In this study, the researcher conducted a quantitative and cross-sectional survey of 97 undergraduates in the faculty of commerce and management studies at, university of Kelaniya using a convenience sampling technique. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, correlation and regression statistics with the aid of SPSS. It was noted that the employment of undergraduates is significantly related to their academic performance and that there is an impact on the employment of undergraduates on their academic performance. The study provides a major theoretical contribution in addressing the major component (GPA) throughout this study. As mentioned by Susan and Curtis (2000), there is a negative effect of the employment of undergraduates on their academic performance.Item Employee Grievances Handling and Its Effect on Employee Turnover Intention: Study of a Private Hospital in Sri Lanka(Department of of Human Resource Management, Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka, 2021) Wijerathne, M. N. K. W.; Mendis, M. V. S.The primary purpose of this study was to identify employee grievance handling and its effect on employee turnover intention. This study was carried out as quantitative explanatory research work. Further, the sample was selected randomly and used a simple random sampling technique. This is cross-industry descriptive research, and a standard questionnaire was used to collect primary data through a survey. Questionnaires were distributed to a sample of 63 executive employees who are currently working in a selected private hospital The data was analyzed using Statistical Package for the Social Sciences [SPSS] 23.0 version. Descriptive statistics, normality, linearity, correlation, and regression are used to analyze the data and make conclusions. Findings revealed that Employee grievance handling and its effect on employee turnover intention. Moreover, the findings of the study provide numerous implications for HR practitioners, management practitioners, and policymakers to enhance employee grievance handling method and decrease employee turnover intention in private hospitals in Sri LankaItem Entrepreneurial Intention of Female Undergraduates: Evidence from the Faculty of Commerce and Management, University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka(Department of of Human Resource Management, Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka, 2021) Senanayake, S.M.S.D.; Weerasinghe, T.D.Entrepreneurship is very importance for all countries. But some people approach it without a proper understanding about it. In time, their business went bankrupt. But people with business management knowledge are less likely to do so. Hence, the main objective of this study was to identify the entrepreneurial intention of female undergraduates of the faculty of Commerce and Management, university of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka as there is a business management knowledge. This was carried out as a quantitative and conducted as the cross-sectional field study among a sample of 310 female undergraduates of the Commerce and Management faculty, University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka. Convenience sampling was applied to select the sample. Data were collected via a standard questionnaire that met accepted standards of validity and reliability and it was distributed among female undergraduates as a Google form online. The sample data set was analyzed with aid of the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). According to the independent t-test analysis, the family background creates a great impact on entrepreneurial intention. Although they have entrepreneurial intention through creativity and educational support, they are reluctant to start a new business due to their family background. Researcher recommends establishing a mechanism with the aid of the key research findings, to capture the entrepreneurial intention of female undergraduates before leaving the university. Therefore, female undergraduates can gain the university support to become an entrepreneur. Further, researchers would suggest the organization of entrepreneurial motivational programs to promote the parallel entrepreneurship in the university.Item Factors Affecting Entrepreneurial Intention of Human Resource Management Undergraduates at University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka(Department of of Human Resource Management, Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka, 2021) Fonseka, M. The willingness of undergraduates to participate in entrepreneurial action in the future is determined by their entrepreneurial intention. The primary goal of this study is to determine how Personal Attitudes, Entrepreneurial Education, Attitudes on social networking influence HRM undergraduates' entrepreneurial intentions at the University of Kelaniya in Sri Lanka, the primary data for this study was acquired by sending 130 survey questionnaires to final year HRM undergraduates at University of Kelaniya as responders. There is a research gap in the Sri Lankan context regarding investigate the associated factors which affect the innovative work behavior of the management undergraduates in Sri Lanka. Thus, the current study was initiated to address this gap by examining the factors affecting innovative work behavior of management undergraduates. By drawing from rich scholarly history, the researcher identified main four factors which affects the innovative work behavior of the employing undergraduates: learning goal orientation, self-efficacy, job autonomy and transformational leadership. This study followed quantitative approach and used the deductive methods of researching. The primary data of the study was gathered by distributing 160 survey questionnaires that met the acceptable level of validity and reliability. The study was conducted by using convenience sampling method. Type of investigation was correlation, and it was cross-sectional on time horizon. The unit of analysis was individual level. Management undergraduates who are employing in full time and part time in the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka were considered as the respondents in this study. Descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficient, and simple regression were applied to analyze data. Findings of the current study support the empirically justified conception that learning goal orientation, self-efficacy, job autonomy and transformational leadership are strong predictors of innovative work behavior. K. C.; Silva, H. M. S. V.The purpose of this study was to identify factors affecting on employee loyalty in operative level employees in Lankapura Apparel (Pvt) Ltd. This study is carried out as a quantitative explanatory research work. Further, the sample is selected randomly and used simple random sampling technique. This is a descriptive research & standard questionnaire was used to collect primary data through a survey. Questionnaires are distributed to a sample of 193 of operational level employees who are currently working in Lankapura Apparel (Pvt) Ltd. To analyze received questionnaires data, SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Science) was used. To interpret data analyzed and to obtain the result graphical charts, descriptive statistical techniques such as mean, mode, standard deviation and histograms, correlation and coefficient, multiple regression analysis and residual analysis were used. To test the relationship between variables Pearson correlation technique analysis was used. Simple regression analysis was used to identify the degree of the impact of the independent variable on dependent variable was analyzed by using R square value. And it was found to be that there is a significant moderate positive relationship between leadership, perceived working environment and compensation on employee loyalty and there is no significant positive relationship in person- job- fit on employee loyalty. This research is very important in building the relationship between employee and employer. Through this study, management can gain a better understanding of how to retain employees in the workplace through the employee loyalty
