Abstract
In today’s dynamic world, human resource management has become a very significant and important management field, and companies must be concerned about utilizing their workforce efficiently and effectively to achieve their goal and objectives. This study focuses on discussing the Factors Affecting the Turnover Intention of Operational Level Employees in the Construction Industry in Sri Lanka. The problem of the study is “Factors Affecting Turnover Intention of Operational Level Employees in the Construction Industry in Sri Lanka” which is identified by studying the literature gap in this area.
The research was quantitative research. This cross-sectional research gathered data through a questionnaire from a sample of 250 employees selected through a stratified proportionate random sampling method. Data was collected through a structured questionnaire using a simple random sampling technique. Correlation analysis and simple regression analysis were used to measure the relationship and to test the advanced hypotheses of the study by using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS).
In conclusion, as the key findings of the study, it was found That work-life balance, working environment, Job Security, and Work Stress factors impact employee turnover in the construction industry in Sri Lanka.
