Abstract
Library and information service provide essential support for lifelong learning and independent decision making. The mission of a University library is mainly focused on assisting teaching, learning and research on national development. The library collection is the primary needs to fulfill the mission of the library. The Library collection facilitate in raising of the quality of the library. There are many strategies are available for evaluating the library collection. This research paper highlights how fare the BPUSL library fulfill information needs of their users and identify strength and weakness of the collection, to review of current selecting procedures, to take effective decision making. There are Client centered and collection centered approaches used to collect primary data. Result of this study was that most users were satisfied with existing collection of the library.
