This study focuses on discussing the Factors Affecting the Turnover Intention of Operational Level Employees in the Construction Industry in Sri Lanka. The problem of the study is “Factors Affecting Turnover Intention of Operational Level Employees in the Construction Industry in Sri Lanka” which is identified by studying the literature gap in this area. The research was quantitative research. This cross-sectional research gathered data through a questionnaire from a sample of 250 employees selected through a stratified proportionate random sampling method. Data was collected through a structured questionnaire using a simple random sampling technique. Correlation analysis and simple regression analysis were used to measure the relationship and to test the advanced hypotheses of the study by using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). In conclusion, as the key findings of the study, it was found That work-life balance, working environment, Job Security, and Work Stress factors impact employee turnover in the construction industry in Sri Lanka.Item The Impact of Perceived Job Security on Employee Commitment: A Study of Non- Executive Level Employees in Outsourcing Companies(5th HRM Student Research Symposium 2018, Department of Human Resource Management, Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka, 2018) Mihirani, K. V.The main objective of this study was to examine whether there is a significant impact of job security on employee commitment of non-executive level in outsourcing companies. This was important study because it will help organizations in outsourcing industry to have an in depth understanding influence of job security on employee commitment. The population of interest was the non-executive employees in five outsourcing companies under study. Sample of the study comprised 242 non-executive employees and the stratified random sampling technique was used to draw a sample of 164 respondents. Questionnaire method was used as the data collection method for the study. Descriptive statistics, correlation analysis and regression analysis were used as the main data analysis tools in this study. According to regression coefficient, there was a positive impact of job security on employee commitment. Regardless, generation gaps plays a major role in the issue, while technology plays the impactful role on individuals. The main objective of the study is to identify the impact of technological consequences has on employee’s turnover intention. Primarily the consequences were selected based on literature reviews. Deductive methodology was chosen as an approach of the research. Findings derived based on responses from IT industry representatives and analyzed using quantitative techniques. Specimen sufficiency measured by the KMO Bartlett's test, remained at 0.795 alongside a Cronbach Alpha estimation of 0.748. Results indicated that while Job security, Accountability, worker engagement, real time feedback has a negative relationship with employee turnover intention, while social exposure has a positive relationship with worker turnover intention.
